Pilot injured after glider malfunctions and crashes on bridge in China
A powered paraglider experienced an accident during flight, causing the pilot to fall and get injured in southern China.
Video filmed in Zhuzhou City in Hunan Province on September 9 shows a paraglider falling onto a bridge and then the pilot lying on the bridge to make a phone call.
An ambulance arrived at the scene. Eyewitnesses reported that the pilot is fortunately not seriously injured.
Staff at the Wangjialing Paragliding Flight Camp in Zhuzhou responded, stating that a local paragliding enthusiast took off from the camp but experienced a machine malfunction that resulted in the engine stalling, leading to the pilot's injury upon landing.
