In a remarkable encounter atop Mount Cikuray in Garut Regency, West Java, Indonesia, a group of adventurers led by @opus.adventure had an unexpected rendezvous with a curious boar on February 28, 2023. As they were ascending the rugged terrain, the group suddenly found themselves face to snout with an inquisitive boar emerging from the nearby bushes. Startled, the adventurers scattered in alarm, with all but one friend fleeing in haste. The lone individual, however, decided to stay put and remained motionless as the boar approached. Captured in a video by @opus.adventure, the tense moment showcased the boar cautiously sniffing the motionless friend, a fascinating interlude of curiosity and fear on the slopes of Mount Cikuray. Eventually, the boar darted away, leaving the adventurers both awestruck and relieved by the unusual encounter.
