Atlanta woman's wig woes: a cautionary tale of crazy glue and lace fronts
In an attempt to secure her lace front wig for an extended period, Alecia from Atlanta turned to a combination of regular hair glue and crazy glue. Filmed on Thursday (August 31) on Capitol Avenue Southwest, Alecia later described the removal process as "horrible," damaging her skin in the process. "I was just tired of my lace lifting," she explained.
Despite trying diluted acetone, alcohol, and natural oils like olive oil, nothing seemed to work. "Finally I used acetone with some vinegar and it slowly began to show improvement," Alecia said. After five grueling hours, she was able to remove the glued lace, relieved but wiser. Alecia used her video to elaborate on why she decided to try this unconventional method, even in the face of "disrespectful backlash."
