Footage shows the massive animal entering through the broken-down door and emerging with steamed buns in its mouth in Qinghai province on July 19 at around 1:19 am.
Resident Yin Zhihong said he tried to scare it off by sounding a whistle, but it returned and did not leave until it was able to have a feast in his kitchen.
The bear with a huge appetite ate a bag of frozen chicken legs and six large steamed buns and drank a bucket of cooking oil before it finally left the property.
