A brazen thief raided a shop while the owner was live-selling bags on Facebook.

The gun-wielding robber walked through the store and interrupted Agnes Serafica, 52, as she showed a black handbag in front of the camera to her viewers in Laguna province, the Philippines, on September 4.

Footage shows the man wearing a motorcycle helmet and black face mask approaching the terrified Agnes as he said ‘lie down' before pushing the phone away.

Despite obscuring what was happening from view, Agnes' Facebook Live continued during the tense moment and recorded the thief's voice.

He said: ‘Lie down. All of you lie down. Take off all your jewellery. Take all of them off. Where's your money?'

The thief continued to pressure Agnes to bring out money, but she answered in a scared voice: ‘We don't have money, brother.'

He was also heard threatening to shoot her with his gun, saying: ‘Get inside or I will shoot you. Faster.'

The Facebook Live stream was cut when the thief grabbed the phone and hurried out of the store, but it fell to the ground.

Agnes said: ‘I saw he had a gun, so we did what he asked. He kept asking for more money, but I told him we had nothing hidden, so they just took my jewellery.'

Seven pieces of jewellery were stolen with an estimated value of up to 100,000 PHP (1,411.07 GBP), along with a cellphone.

The thief had an accomplice waiting on a motorcycle outside, and both men surrendered later.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Dwight Fonte Jr of Santa Rosa City Police Station said: 'One of them was a neighbour of the victim. He found out from the victim's father that three million pesos were hidden in their bedroom.'

The men would face robbery charges and can be imprisoned for up to six years if found guilty.
