Firefighters caught a python after it sneaked into a farm and ate two geese in southern China.

The video was filmed in Qinzhou City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on September 12.

A massive python wreaked havoc in a local farm by devouring two unsuspecting geese before getting itself ensnared in a web of trouble.

The python is around 3 metres long and weighing in at 30 kilograms.

Fueled by its insatiable appetite, the cunning snake made a stealthy move, swiftly snatching up the two geese. The farmer, desperate to save his beloved birds, attempted to shoo away the snake to no avail.

Realising he was outmatched, he promptly dialled emergency services for assistance.

Local firefighters, equipped with personal protective gear, received the urgent call and rushed to the scene. They were faced with a peculiar dilemma as they found the python trapped in a net meant to protect the farm's fowl.

Firefighters captured the snake and handed it over to the regional forestry authorities to deal with.

The video was provided by local media the permission.
