Travel disruptions in Madrid as intense storm hits Spanish capital
An intense storm hit Madrid early September 15 causing flooding and travel disruptions.
The M-40 motorway was partially closed while the metro service was disrupted on multiple lines. Flooding was also reported on the A-2 highway and La Garena railway station in Alcalá de Henares, northeast of Madrid.
