Surviving the battlefield: Ukrainian soldier's harrowing escape from mortar attack
On August 8, 2023, near the village of Robotino, Ukraine, Ukrainian soldier @evgenymosolov2 found himself in the midst of a war-stricken area, capturing a chilling video of damaged buildings and the sounds of gunfire in the background. In the video, he recounted a close encounter with danger as a mortar and two tanks fired just ten meters away, resulting in the immediate death of six people and leaving him with a concussion. Thanks to the quick actions of his commander and fellow soldiers, he was evacuated to safety. Upon returning to his unit's resting place, he discovered that the house where they had been staying was destroyed, but miraculously, his comrades were alive and well.
