SOUNDBITE 1 (English): JERALD LIUM, Swimming team of Singapore
"Recently I have been to the World University Games held in Chengdu. And from the experience I learned that China actually sets a very high standard when it comes to hosting major games, everything when it comes to, the way they treat athletes to the facilities that are all world-class. So I'm very excited hitting into this Asian Games. Everything is coming along very well, both in the water and out of the pool when it comes to recovery and like mental preparation. So I think when I get there, I'll trust the process, my coaches and my teammates, and I think I'll be ready by then.
I've never been to Hangzhou actually, I also don't really know much about the place, but I've seen a video of how the Village looks. And I'm very excited to be there and experience it."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): KOH KOON TECK, Chef de Mission of Team Singapore
"I have a privilege to visit Hangzhou in April during the CDM meeting (Chefs de Mission Seminar). So I'm very impressed with the level of preparations, and also the people, the organizers, as well as state-of-the-art facilities and venues. So I'm confident that this Hangzhou Asian Games will be a very successful one and that I'm looking forward to going and be part of it.
The Hangzhou Asian Games can set a new benchmark in terms of the mega game organization. Looking at the extent of how the game is being organized, it can also achieve, set, create and deliver a good and exciting experience for the participants as well as the fans. I think this will be a very good opportunity for other countries to learn and to take this major games to the next level.
Because of the recent visit to Hangzhou for the CDM meeting, so this is how I know Hangzhou better. The city is very well-developed, the people are all committed, so I'm very sure they all put in efforts to make sure this Hangzhou Asian Games will be a very successful one.
Hangzhou, we are coming."
