A group of four blue sharks investigates a group of humans in the wild waters off Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
In this video, an operator of shark watching tours attracts a group of blue sharks with a slick created by mashing some of the sharks' favorite fishes into the water off Cabo San Lucas in the early hours of the day.
Sooner rather than later, a group of four blue sharks becomes aware of the smell of potential prey and surrounds the crate filled with fish scraps, throwing a very interested look at the skorkelers. The sharks in this video are approximately one to three meters long. They rarely attack humans and are listed as "Near threatened" by the IUCN. They are hunted for their meat, which is mostly sold as fishmeal or pet food even though it is heavy in mercury and lead.
This video has been filmed with a GoPro 7.
This video has not been shard with any other licensing agencies.
