STORYLINE:

The launch ceremony of the trial operation of the China Cultural Center was held on Sunday in Hawali Governorate, Kuwait.

This is the first China cultural center in the Gulf region.
  
Moussaid Zamir, assistant secretary general of the Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, delivered a speech at the ceremony, stating that Kuwait has always attached great importance to cultural development.
  
During his speech, Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Zhang Jianwei said that the center would lead the development of cultural exchanges between China and the Gulf region.
  
The guests visited the cultural center's reading room, culinary training room, music and dance classroom, Chinese language teaching room, and enjoyed Chinese traditional music and dance performances.
