Stray Cats Express Gratitude with Mice as Gifts to Thank Woman feeding them in China
In Xinjiang on September 7, 2023, a girl's kindness towards stray cats produced an unexpected reward.
After feeding several stray cats for a while, the girl woke up that day and was both touched and helpless to find a peculiar display of gratitude under the window: a rotten apple and two deceased mice.
According to her, the stray cats began to bring her gifts ever since she started feeding them, sometimes eggshells and sometimes such prey that frightened her.
Gao is grateful for the gifts but also wants to know how she can make the cats understand that she doesn't need any rewards from them.
