Terrifying moment huge PYTHON slithers out of Aussie motorist's vehicle
Shocking footage has emerged of the moment a huge python was found lurking in a car.
In the video, the snake appears from the engine of the car as its body slithers over the bonnet.
The shocking footage, shared by Brisbane North Snake Catchers, shows the python emerging out of a vehicle parked in Griffin, Queensland, Australia.
Identified as a coastal carpet python, the non-venomous snake can grow between 2-4 metres in length and can weigh up to 22lbs.
Viewers on social media were stunned by the video and the snake’s bizarre hiding place – with one branding it “unwise”.
Sonia Cassar said: “That is one stunning looking python.
“A shame I no longer have an exotic pets license or I would keep that one as a pet, not that I ever dealt with many snakes.”
Chris Boyt-Cullis added: “Those poor inoffensive pythons make a lot of unwise choices.”
The snake-catching service previously shared pictures of a fellow coastal carpet python hitching a ride in a camper van engine.
The coastal carpet python was curled up under the bonnet in Samford, northwest of Brisbane, Australia.
