An artist made a hole-punch portrait of iconic 106-year-old Filipina tattooist Apo Whang-od using old magazines.

Jereka Ellen Bueno Decano diligently used the office tool on the colourful glossy pages that were collecting dust in her room and used the tiny pieces to build an awesome collage in Pangasinan province, the Philippines.

Footage shows Jereka showing off the raw materials which she prepared with a hole puncher, scissors, and glue, working on it for 13 days from August 11 to 24.

She put together at least 13,000 punched pieces of paper that were about the same size as a lentil seed until the image of the oldest Filipino traditional tattooist emerged.

Apo Whang-Od, also known as Maria Oggay, has been doing geometric tattoo designs representing nature, animals, and other important symbols from Kalinga culture for more than 80 years. She is the oldest person to ever appear on the cover of Vogue Magazine at 106 years old.
