These fearless sisters dragged a huge python out of a bush when it slithered into their garden in the middle of the night.

The siblings discovered the deadly predator when they were woken up by the sound of it rustling through the lawn at their home in Chonburi, eastern Thailand, on August 22.

Deciding to tackle the snake on their own, the women armed themselves with a rake and some gloves, then battled to untangle the reptile from the undergrowth.

Footage shows the two residents pulling the enraged 10-ft long beast out from a bush, then pinning its head down with the rake to keep it from striking at them.

The sisters then stuffed the snake inside a blue sack to be turned over to wildlife authorities. The officials said they were impressed with how the subdued the snake, which is capable to suffocating a swallowing humans.

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
