Out-of-control truck ploughs into multiple vehicles, killing 1 in China
A fully loaded truck lost control and collided with multiple vehicles, killing
1 in southern China.
Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on September 19, shows an out-of-control truck crashing into multiple vehicles on a road.
Seven people were injured and one person was killed. One out of the seven injured people was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition. The remaining six individuals were assessed at the hospital and left on their own after being deemed no serious injuries.
Upon investigation, Mr Lei was driving a light truck from Kangding New City heading south. When he reached the Zheduo River gas station section of Muya Road, he collided with four cars and seven motorcycles.
Currently, the police have preliminarily ruled out suspicions of drunk or drugged driving by the truck driver. The vehicle involved in the accident is undergoing technical examination and further investigations are ongoing.
