CCTV footage has emerged from China of a man jumping off a cable car above a tiger enclosure in a zoo in seek of adventure, before he was saved by the zoo employees.

The video, captured on a security camera in Henan Province on Saturday, shows the man trying to stand up on the chairlift, but he suddenly falls down onto the safety net.

According to news reports, the 42-year-old man wanted to seek some excitement by doing a somersault during the fall but failed in the end.

He reportedly was upset he didn't manage to do the somersault and expressed that after he was rescued.
