Japan: Man Walks On Train Tracks In Tokyo Prompting Police Chase And Train Services Suspension
A man was arrested after he was seen walking along the train tracks between Mitaka and Kichijoji stations in Tokyo on Thursday, September 21.
Train service for portions of the Chuo and Sobu lines were suspended when the incident happened around 10:45 am. Services were resumed around 11:20 am after the man was arrested by police. No details of the man's motive are being reported as of press time.
Images on social media show police chasing after the man and eventually arresting him.
