Terrifying army of hammerhead worms crawl across woman's kitchen floor
A terrifying army of hammerhead worms were seen crawling across a woman's kitchen floor.
Footage shows the alien-like yellow-brown bugs with distinctive head shapes moving in unison across the home tiles in Khon Kaen province, northeast Thailand, on September 19.
The owner said: 'I felt like I was being invaded.'
Hammerhead worms are carnivorous and prey on earthworms, slugs, and other small invertebrates. They use their sharp teeth to pierce their prey's skin and then suck out the body fluids.
They also secrete toxins that can be harmful to humans when rubbed in the eye or ingested.
