A quick-thinking woman jumped into a truck to stop it from sliding down a slope in eastern China
The CCTV footage was filmed in Bozhou in Anhui Province on July 20.
Ms Wang, a forklift operator who had just stepped down from her vehicle when she noticed the unattended lorry beginning to move due to it being parked on an incline, combined with the driver's forgetfulness to apply the handbrake.
Instinctively, she dashed to the truck's cabin and managed to stop it just in time, avoiding a possibly catastrophic outcome had the vehicle rolled onto the busy street.
Wang stated that she acted impulsively to halt the runaway vehicle, acknowledging that it could have led to severe consequences if the truck had reached the road.
