"But also from the meaning of our exhibition, we extended to Kenya investment and trade fair, because we think it's very important to launch this theme. As exhibition, we have the obligation of also supporting Kenyan products to go to China. We also try to use this trademark to find the market for good products in Kenya to export to China."

Gao revealed that the Kenyan pavilion will host over 30 selected local companies showcasing products that target the Chinese market such as avocados, mangoes, coffee, tea and nuts.

Ronald Meru, the chair of the Economic Diplomacy Committee as well as vice chair of the Kenya National Chamber and Commerce Industry (KNCCI) Nairobi Chapter, said that the expo is significant for the country because it seeks to connect local enterprises to modern technological advancements from China.
