Arcade-goer uses trigonometry triangle to conquer claw grabber toy machine
An engineering student used a clever strategy to win a teddy bear from a claw grabber machine.
The focused and quick-witted arcade-goer, Michael Ace Refugio deployed a set square ruler to calculate the mechanical arm's movement in Tubugan, Iloilo province, the Philippines, on August 26.
Footage shows the meticulous player studying the machine's angles from both the front and side to determine the correct position for the notoriously difficult-to-handle metal claw grabber.
With a determined expression and unwavering confidence, Michael pressed the machine's button and successfully claimed his prize - a large Winnie the Pooh soft toy.
In celebration of his mathematical achievement, Michael danced with joy.
His friend, John Kenneth Fisga, captured the scene on camera.
