Locals were terrified when they saw a cluster of bizarre UFO-shaped clouds during a storm in northeast Thailand.

Hospital boss Suphachok Kusolwat had just come from a meeting with his colleagues when he spotted the flying objects while opening the window to get some fresh air.

Suphachok hurriedly whipped out his iPhone 13 to take a video of the mystery 'spaceships' above the Ban Thaen Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital in Khon Kaen province on September 22.

Footage shows a disc-shaped cloud hovering in the sky over Three smaller 'UFOs' that appeared next to the larger craft. All four then slowly faded out of view.

The shocked local believes that they were 'real UFOs' that disappeared when they became aware he was watching them.

Suphachok, a former government worker, said: 'I think it was just a coincidence that I saw them. They seemed to be hiding themselves. When I noticed them, they quickly disappeared.'

He added that he was shaken from the incident, and called his wife to tell her about the 'extraterrestrial' sighting.

He then drove back to his office and showed the video clip to his co-workers, who agreed with their manager that they were UFOs. He then posted his UFO videos on social media.

Suphachok claimed to have seen another UFO in the province a decade ago.

He said it was moving 'faster than an airplane' from the Ubol Ratana Dam to the Phu Kao Phu Phan Kham National Park, but he was unable to take footage because he had a low-tech phone at the time.
