A massive 10-foot-long python was rescued and subsequently released by the forest officials after it entered a house in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened in Katarniaghat forest area in Bahraich district of the state on September 23.

Visuals showed efforts being made by the forest department to capture the big snake. One of the officials pinned the reptile to a spot on a wall while two others were seen trying to put it into a sack. After a while, the team was able to successfully capture the snake and close the opening of the sack.

Later, the snake was shown being released. The forest official flipped the sack over on an empty road and a snake came out. It then slid to one end of the road before falling straight into a water body beneath.
