Murder investigation after police find woman dead at property - Beeston, Nottinghamshire, Uk

Nottinghamshire Police have arrested a 50-year-old man on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a woman's body in her flat on County Close in Beeston. The tragic incident unfolded on Monday, September 25th, when officers responded to the scene, where they found the lifeless body of a 46-year-old woman.

Detective Inspector Kaz Smithson, who is leading the investigation, expressed condolences to the victim's family and friends during this distressing time. A dedicated team of detectives has been diligently pursuing multiple lines of inquiry since the incident.

The 50-year-old man was taken into custody on Tuesday, September 26th, in connection with the suspected murder. Police continue to maintain a presence at the scene, and a small cordon has been established while forensic work and door-to-door inquiries are conducted.
