A playful pet Golden Retriever sat on a toddler like an MMA wrestler.

Footage shows the five-month-old puppy pinning the five-year-old girl on her back while she cried and seemed to ‘tap out' for help in Henan, China on September 10.

The pooch, likened to a canine version of Irish rabble-rouser Conor McGregor, ignored the wailing youngster but quickly left her alone when he heard the kid's mum.

The mother said the duo always teased each other and only five minutes before the video was captured, it was her daughter who was sitting on the dog.
