A group of wild elephants died on the Jharkhand border of Parsidi village in Tunturi Suisa area of ​​Baghmundi block in Purulia on September 28 (Thursday).

According to the local sources some people of Parasidi village saw the incident while bathing at Rawkal Ghat of Subarnarekha river. As soon as the incident came to know, many people came from Pailong, Saprum, Tiruldi village of Tiruldi police station of Jharkhand border along with Parsidi village of Tunturi Suisa area and many people gathered to see the dead elephant. .

On this day, the women of the village rushed to burn incense in front of the dead wild elephant.

It is not yet known what caused the death of the group of wild elephants.
