Parts of New Jersey are under water
Gov. Phil Murphy declared a State of Emergency in the state, effective as of 3 p.m. Friday.
He said the worst is yet to come, with more than a dozen counties on flood watch. He urged people to stay off the roads.

I am declaring a State of Emergency effective at 3:00 p.m. We are experiencing heavy rainfall that is expected to accelerate in many parts of the state over the next several hours.

Residents should stay off the roads, remain alert, and follow all safety protocols. Governor Phil Murphy tweeted

This footage i filmed at Clinton Street and Second Street in Hoboken NJ
I was filming from the back of a taxi.
As of an hour ago that corner was still flooded but it was calm as it’s not raining at the moment.
I have seen flooding in Hoboken but not that deep at this corner other than Hurricane Sandy
