Out of curiosity my sister and I decided to film this pod and I post on Tiktok regularly therefore thought this might spark interest for other NHS workers like myself.
Once I posted the video it sparked up a lot of controversy and very quickly went viral on Tiktok shortly followed by instagram.

The comments included NHS workers stating they never have enough time to nap or would be ‘sacked’ for doing so, demanding a higher pay rise rather than allowing them to overwork and require sleep pods.

On the other hand other people were concerned about the wait time in NHS hospitals for beds and how the funds should be given to hospitals to create more space for patients.

Many NHS workers (mainly nurses) stated in the comments that they sleep on the ground or put two chairs together to be able to take a nap during shifts. Where others were not allowed to take naps even during their breaks and would be reprimanded for it. Some workers stated security guards would be sent into the car parks to stop staff from sleeping during their breaks.
