Viral Social Media Woman Asking for Help from Inside the Car Has Become Public Attention in West Sumatra
Viral on social media in Padang City, a woman asked for help from inside a Silver Mini Bus, suspected of being a kidnapping victim on Jalan 8Raya Simpang Haru, East Padang, Padang City, West Sumatra. Thursday (28/09/2023).
Seen in an 11 second video that went viral on social media. Where a woman is seen asking for help from local residents while struggling to open the car door.

However, the woman did not manage to get out of the car, because she was pulled by three men in a silver minibus with police number BA 1005 LF, and immediately ran away.
From the testimony of witnesses who saw the incident, Anisa, (24). Said he suddenly recorded the incident. Seized from behind the car there was a commotion in the car.
"We saw in the car 3 men in a silver Agya Warnah car with license plate number BA 1005 LF. Pulling a woman in the car while asking residents for help, but none of the residents paid any attention," he said.
As for the commotion in the car, it is not clear what the commotion was. Whether it's kidnapping or family problems.
"At the time of the incident there was also a long traffic jam, where the woman kept opening the car door so she was hit by a public transportation," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Padang Police, Commissioner Dedy Adriansyah Putra, said. The viral minibus video on social media is related to the alleged kidnapping of a woman on the side of the road.
"Until now, we from the Padang Police have not received any reports from residents of kidnappings, but from the video circulating, a woman asked residents for help and was pulled by a man in a car," he said.
Padang Police are currently still carrying out investigations and visiting the scene of the incident and checking the CCTV of local residents to find out what actually happened.
