"We are slowly going back to the numbers of 2019. More and more tourists from China are choosing Italy as a travel destination, mostly in major cities of art like Rome, Florence, Venice, of course, and Milan for shopping.
For sure, it's good for our market. The Chinese market is one of the major markets for Italy in terms of sources of tourists.
So for the whole economy, the increase in the number of Chinese tourists is very good news. So starting from the beginning of this year, we've been doing a lot of promotion in China."

Spanning both the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holidays, China's "golden week" holiday season started on Sept. 29 and will last until Oct. 6.
