Abandoned and bashed around, the life of a Lime Bike in London has always been rough but CCTV footage from Sunday 1 October captured just how badly some people treat the rented e-bikes.

A local resident found a pair of destroyed Lime Bikes in the street outside so they checked the building's CCTV record and were shocked by what they saw.

First the poor bikes were selfishly parked in the middle of the road, then a passer-by kicked them both over -- so far, so London -- then a car drove down the road and executed a neat three-point turn, slowly, right over them before parking nearby.

"Equally funny as well as sad," commented the local resident.

Found a couple of destroyed Lime Bikes outside so I checked the CCTV and was shocked to see this series of events. First, two chaps park the electric hire bikes in the middle of the road, then a random person kicks them over, then a driver performs a U-turn over them destroying them. Equally funny as well as sad.
