Video shot on 28 September captured the moment hero electricians risked their lives to cut power and relocate a transformer station before a landslide hit, in Nghe An, Vietnam.

According to locals, flash floods caused the land below the transformer to begin to collapse and there was a risk the transformer could fall and be swept away by floodwaters at any time.

As soon as they received the news, the electricians arrived and tried to cut off the power and relocate the transformer before a full landslide occurred.

While the electricians were working, the ground was gradually slipping from the slope below.

Finally they got the valuable equipment out of the way, to ensure that after the flood, electricity could be restored to people in the area.
