This is the adorable moment two parents and their son celebrated their imminent second child with an intimate gender reveal.

The unique gender reveal took place a few blocks away from the family's home, at a playground where their first-born plays almost every day in British Columbia, Canada, on August 15.

In the heartwarming footage, the couple can be seen using a glass of wine to cut into a cake while involving their son in the big reveal. They asked their excited toddler about the color hidden inside the cake, creating a suspenseful and heartwarming scene. The toddler can be heard saying 'pink', for a baby girl.

Tyrone De Guzman, the proud father, shared the backstory behind their decision to keep the celebration intimate.

He said: 'The reason behind the gender reveal is that we wanted an intimate celebration, just the three of us. Since our toddler knows the colors, we wanted him to participate, and luckily, he participated well. That's why our reaction is so pure and filled with bliss.'

The baby is expected to be born in November 2023.
