Several Palestinians were shot and over 100 others suffered suffocation when they clashed with Israeli forces clearing the way for a visit by settlers to Joseph's Tomb in Nablus in the West Bank at dawn on Thursday 5 October.

The Red Crescent's Director of Ambulance and Emergency in Nablus, Ahmad Jibril, said that two Palestinians were injured by live bullets in the chest and hand, a third by shrapnel in the back and foot, and a fourth by a tear gas bomb blow to the head, while 120 others suffered from suffocation.
