A caring pet cat kept a customer company while she had a beauty treatment at a spa.

Footage shows the two-year-old tabby cat named Yu sitting on the woman's tummy and chest as she laid on the bed under a ring light to have an eyelash extension in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 19.

Yu tried its best to be helpful and lightly pressed its paws on the client's neck to massage her while the beautician worked to fluff her lash.

The smart moggy also knew not to make sudden movements during the meticulous session.

There has been a trend of pet cats and dogs joining customers in their clinics and spas in Thailand. In another shop, a tattoo artist's caring dog hugged customers to comfort them during sessions while a cat gave out free massages to women receiving beauty treatments at a different clinic.
