The village of Grozy in Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine, became the target of a Russian missile attack on Thursday (October 2023), killing 51 civilians. The attack took place on Rymars'ka Street.

According to media reports from Interfax, the missile struck a cafe store in the village during a memorial service for a Ukrainian serviceman who had been reburied that day. The devastating impact of the attack was felt deeply as among the casualties were the son and widow of the reburied serviceman.

Rescue operations are in full swing as teams work tirelessly to clear the debris and search for survivors. The attack's aftermath has left a trail of destruction, with buildings reduced to rubble and families torn apart.
