An Egyptian expert has spoken highly of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), saying it's a very important initiative for humanity.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the BRI, which has attracted more than three-quarters of the world's countries and 32 international organizations.

"The Belt and Road Initiative is a very important initiative for humanity. It is an economic development initiative that benefits everyone. Over the past 10 years, it has had a positive impact.
In the last 10 years, many countries have joined it (BRI), because they are confident that this initiative is in their interest.
This initiative will propel countries in Africa, the Arab world, and Asia towards broad horizons of development, progress, and prosperity, for both their peoples and countries.
The BRI will have a major effective role in steering the world towards a new global order.
The BRI will consolidate the concept of a new world that avoids conflicts, unipolarity, hegemony, and domination.
China adopts a concept that stresses the necessity of a new, more just global economic and financial system. The BRI is a mechanism for achieving this fair concept of trade, economy, investment, and international cooperation.
The ultimate goal of the BRI is to form a large group of countries from various continents that want to work together to achieve coexistence, economic development, prosperity, and win-win cooperation for all."
