Parents panicked as inflatable castle collapses trapping children inside at amusement park in China
Panicked parents rushed to the aid of their children after an inflatable castle collapsed in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.
Footage from October 5 shows the adults pulling the distraught children from out of the deflated castle at a parent-child amusement park.
A man used a key to cut open the cloth and several parents were able to pull their kids out of the castle.
The filmer, Ms Liu, said: "Adults and children were all frightened. It was the first time they saw such an accident happening in the air castle. It was too dangerous."
A worker at the park claimed that a child was playing on the ladder in the inflatable castle and fell down. The ladder was not high, but the child was very young and started crying.
The cry made the parents rush into the castle, causing it to tilt and deflate under the increased weight.
Three children have been sent to the hospital for examination. No injuries were reported.
