STORYLINE:
The third China Xizang Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation concluded on Friday in the city of Nyingchi, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
The three-day forum attracted representatives from more than 40 countries, regions and international organizations.
Foreign guests attending the forum spoke highly of Tibet's major achievements in ecological civilization and economic and social development, and appreciated the important role played by the forum in strengthening exchanges and cooperation among countries in the trans-Himalaya region for common development and prosperity.
They also expressed their expectation to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China, jointly cope with climate change and other challenges, protect the ecological environment and achieve sustainable development.
