Palestinians Raid Israeli Settlements Near Gaza

The Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas launched its biggest assault on Israel in years early on Saturday, firing a barrage of rockets from Gaza and sending fighters across the border.
Palestinian Hamas said its fighters had raided Israeli towns and settlements near Gaza, with Israeli media saying there were casualties from the attack. Hamas announced Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, sending a barrage of rockets into Israel.
