Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Shaker, confirmed recently that the Ministry has succeeded in reducing the consumption of fuel used to generate electricity during the current year by 20 percent.
He pointed to the state's plans to establish renewable energy stations to produce green hydrogen with a capacity of 128,000 megawatts.
Shaker added that this fuel saving is a result of raising the efficiency of old stations and establishing new stations with the highest international standards.
