Stunning collection of Japanese Bearbricks displayed inside Thailand's tallest building
Dozens of Japanese 'Bearbricks' were displayed inside Thailand's tallest building for a month-long exhibition in Bangkok.
The collectible figures, which have been decorated by top designers around the world, will be showcased at the 74th floor of the King Power Mahanakhon building for the 'Be@rbrick World Wide Tour 3' running from October 5 to November 5.
More than 100 artists used 70cm-tall Bearbrick 1000%' figures - which can cost upwards of 500 USD and are 1000 times the size of the standard 'Bearbrick 100' model - as the canvases for their designs.
The various themes included popular references such as Iron Man, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty, but some Bearbricks also showcased other more abstract designs.
Visitors can also win eight commemorative Berbricks and a range of exclusive souvenirs from the King Power Mahanakhon x BE@RBRICK collaboration, including penny presses, keychains, folding tote bags, t-shirts, tumblers, and various other items.
Toy fanatics can enter the venue for 500 THB for adults, and 250 THB for kids under 13 and senior citizens 60 and above.
Bearbricks, stylized 'BE@RBRICK', are collectible designer toys manufactured by Japanese company Medicom Toy in the shape of a bear. It comes in various sizes and styles, often featuring collaborations with artists, brands, and pop culture references.
