"Here I'm standing in one of the most devastated areas in coastal enclave. In this neighborhood, the devastation that we are seeing on the camera is not because of the earthquake, neither because of storms. It's just because of the Israeli warplanes that decided to destroy it completely."

Israel intensified on Tuesday its airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and bolstered its forces along the border.

According to the health ministry, at least 900 Palestinians have been killed from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

SOUNDBITE 1 (Arabic): Local resident
"We were sleeping in our house and woke up because of the bombing, which broke my house's windows. All the children in the house fell to the ground, and my son was injured because of the broken glass. They destroyed my home."

SOUNDBITE 2 (Arabic): Local resident
"I was surprised when my house shook violently and caught fire. I was able to escape from home after saving my children. I saw the mosque in our area destroyed, and I brought my children into my neighbors' house, and some of my neighbors died."

SOUNDBITE 3 (Arabic): Local resident
"We woke up while they (Israelis) bombed and destroyed our house. The broken glass of the windows injured some members of our family. We saw blood everywhere. We were afraid and looked around to see if someone died in our home."
