Mechanic shows hack to clean car lights with mosquito repellent
A mechanic showed an awesome hack - how to clean a car's headlights with mosquito repellent.
The worker found out that a chemical in topical bug spray could clean the yellowish stains on headlamps, so he started using the solution on vehicles he handles in Lopburi province, Thailand.
Footage shows the man spraying the SUV's front light the vigorously wiping it with a cloth while a colleague did the same on the other lamp.
Customer Sarawu Chinsopa said: ‘The technicians know each other and used the same mosquito repellent in the bottles.'
Despite visible results, cleaning the headlights with bug spray that has DEET is discouraged by motoring companies as the chemical composition could melt the plastic casing of the lights.
