Grateful pedestrian doffs his cap for car stopping at crossing
A grateful pedestrian doffed his cap for a car that stopped at a crossing in China.
Dashcam footage shows the old man walking along the zebra lane and stopping as vehicles passed through in Liaoning province on September 24.
But when one of the drivers slowed down to give way to him, the polite man took off his cap and bowed, bending a knee as a thank-you gesture before moving along.
According to the driver, he was touched by the show of mutual respect as he did not expect to find it in a busy urban area where everyone is always in a hurry.
