Demonstrators gathered outside Downing Street demanding the release of Jason Moore who has spent almost a decade in jail for the murder of another man.

Footage from October 11 shows the group holding banners that read, "#FreeJasonMoore".

Moore was sentenced to 18 years in jail in 2013 after he was accused of stabbing Robert Daly to death in 2005.

His friends, family, and supporters believe Moore is innocent and plan to submit fresh evidence to the body responsible for investigating possible miscarriages of justice.

A leaflet handed to the filmer read: "We are here today to protest about the way that the criminal case review commission has so far refused to listen to the evidence that shows is an unsafe conviction; evidence that is so overwhelming that anyone who reads it can hardly believe that it has been allowed to stand, and to keep an innocent man in prison for the last nine years. We are here to say, let the evidence speak."
