This is a heartwarming moment a sweet grandson surprised his grandmother with flowers and chocolate for Mother's Day.

Wendell Herminigildo greeted his busy grandmother, Lydia Herminigildo, 67, who was planting vegetables, with roses, sweets, and cash to celebrate Mother's Day in a farm field in the province of Aurora, the Philippines, on May 16.

Footage shows Wendell taking the flowers and chocolates out of the compartment of his motorbike and walking towards his elderly relative with the gifts hidden behind his back.

With excitement, he pulled out the surprise and gave it to his delighted grandma. She then leaned forward and kissed her grandson on the cheek.

According to Wendell, he wanted to surprise his grandmother because all of her children had passed away.
