In a harrowing incident at Xizang South Road Station on Shanghai Metro Line 8 in China, a woman found herself in a perilous situation when her leg became trapped in the gap between the train and the platform as the doors were about to close. The incident, captured on video by @edwin on September 11, 2023, drew the immediate attention of commuters. Panicked passengers urgently signaled the subway driver to halt the door operation, preventing a potential catastrophe. Police were swiftly summoned to the scene, and although the rescue was not captured on camera, the woman was eventually freed with minor skin injuries.
