Six young men astonished diners by downing 111 bottles of plum juice at a hotpot buffet restaurant in northern China.

Video filmed in the city of Xi'an in Shaanxi Province on October 10 shows dozens of empty plum juice bottles practically filling a table at a hotpot buffet restaurant.

Staff at the hot pot establishment confirmed, "Our buffet deal is priced at 26 yuan (£3) per person, with beverages on the house. These lads have dined here before, but they never consumed as much as this time around. Seeing them finish 111 bottles was a first for us. They sure have an impressive thirst!"
